Pretty in pink.

Mr C has gone bowling again this afternoon, so I decided to walk part of the Kirklees Way that passes through our village.
I was on the lookout fir the new calves as we heard the mum’s mooing a couple of days ago.
I did pass them and took a few photos, but then looked over to my right, and saw the avenue of cherry trees in full flower.
After walking down towards Oakwell Hall decided to take a detour to take some more photos.
They line the driveway up to a farm, and as you can see, look stunning at the moment.
So the calves can wait for another day, as by next week the blossom will be over, and the drive covered in pink ‘ confetti ‘.
Still it is so beautiful while it lasts.
