Blues & Greens

Timed my short walk well. The sky had been a cloudless blue, but - beginning with these tiny fluffballs - cloud began to build, the wind to increase, and the temperature to drop. Saw my first Speckled Wood (Pararge aegeria) of the year - two of them - and, returning via Worlebury Woods, found the bluebells an even deeper blue as they open up. It really looked as if the trees were paddling in a bluebell lake.
