Land of Trees

This is the drive from Perthville, my village, to Bathurst, the main city about 15 mins away. People bike ride out to Perthville all the time for these trees. In a couple of weeks the ones further on will be fully leafless but now they are beautiful and golden.

I took this photo driving home from 59’s house, after the weekly dropoff after school. I was going to catch the bus to the Telstra, which used to be the best cafe in Bathurst, Acropole, but the bus driver made us show our bus passes unlike the other bus drivers, and mine hasn’t arrived yet.

It was the first day back from school holidays today, and we had the ANZAC assembly and cross country. I chose non-competitive because it was freezing and windy.
