How Many Tools Does It Take?

...to hang a quilt on the wall? Like every other project -- a lot more than I thought it would. My workshop is in the basement, so when I have a job like this, I try to bring everything I need in one trip -- especially if it's on the upper floor. I'm lucky if I can get by with three trips, because I can't carry everything in one, and inevitably I forget something. Oh well, it's good exercise.

I didn't have to twist Cynthia's arm to persuade her to go La Fiamma for dinner to celebrate her return from Texas. We were very pleased to see that they've expanded their already prodigious repertoire of interesting pizzas. We ordered a large so that we'd have enough left for another meal tomorrow. On one half we had the Spring Salmon Special -- lemon and parsley ricotta, smoked salmon, pickled onions, mozzarella and parmesan, topped with fresh arugula and balsamic vinegar. For the other half we chose the potato gorgonzola with fennel sausage -- again.

That was a pizza to remember!
