Sheffield

Sheffield has certainly proved to be a city of contrasts. Our hotel was based on the uni campus and to walk into the city centre we had to pass through the beautiful botanical gardens. There were also peace gardens and winter gardens. However many parts of the centre were unloved, closed down shops, etc but there did appear to be lots of regeneration so maybe somewhere to visit in a couple of years.
Enjoyed day 2 of the snooker and would love to try and get tickets again.
