Silent Words

This statuary of bronze and Texas limestone is located near downtown Mac (McMinnville). I walked down to the Community Center today after lunch to start getting ready for our big event this week (stay tuned for certain blipping), and I passed this. I've always liked it, and its bronze head goes with DDW's April Challenge prompt of the day, "Shiny", even though with these clouds it wasn't that shiny. The statue, by Lloyd Whannel, has these words at its base:

Silent words spoken to the night sky
reflected by the stars
and heard in the hearts
of those with silent minds.
