Medication

I thought Bramble had a few issues to investigate so instead of a nurse-led 6-month checkup we saw the Vet.

She's doing very well for her 17 years but came home with painkillers for possible arthritis and steroids for allergy, a kit to obtain a urine sample and a bill for £88. When deemed fit for a general anaesthetic, she will have teeth attended to as well.
.
She's a little monkey, though, having spent the afternoon popping in and out of the garden and sleeping she finally performed for the specimen kit just now, at 10.15 this evening, so the sample is in the frig to be dropped off at the Vet's first thing in the morning. And I'll pay this bill, there will be more to follow.

We never insure our cats as we reckon that payments for all their long lives would amount to rather more than that required during their later years, so we don't begrudge them a penny; we are fortunate that we don't need to resort to the PDSA or other charity.
