Bournville

A different kind of transport hub!

A day trip to see Ruth. Left home 625am, train from Machynlleth 705. Lovely journey mostly through sunlit countryside, later on I dozed, luckily woken by the flurry of activity as we arrived in Birmingham! At Ruths 10am.

Lovely to see Timmy cat again …. he’s as adventurous as ever, scaling the high fence but caught at the top as he was only allowed out under close supervision. Ruth and I got lots of things done, ending with my dragging a trolley with ten bags of topsoil up the hill from Wickes!! Shades of It’s a Knockout :-)

Now aboard the train home. A midnight walk for Meg when I arrive.
