Cricklade

We stopped for lunch today at The Red Lion in Cricklade. An attractive little town but as I took this photo I couldn’t help imagining how pleasant this street would have looked before the advent of the motor car.
We were travelling across the country for a few days break. Luckily N enjoys driving and I enjoy navigating, the perfect partnership
