Making plans

For the first time in many, many years we are making plans for the summer. Last Friday E and his friend had a meeting. It was serious business. They will go on vacation to The Sziget festival. They did that before, but that was with us there for the care for E. This time they want to go without us, and do all the care for E that is needed. A big task, but they thought it over very very well. The conclusion was simple: they are ready for this, and they asked our approval for the plan. We know them all very well, and we were waiting for a moment this would happen, knowing they are doing a lot of the caring also when they go out or away for a day. But they have to come with the plans by themselves, when time is ready. Well, it is now! Tickets are booked, hotel is bookend…They are counting days from now till August.

We talked about the large part of freedom we have together now the coming summer holiday. Will we stay at home, just in case we are needed? Or…are we going for a roadtrip the days the friends and E are away? We decided to go for a trip also: when we are needed we will be far away also when we are at home too… when that was decided we didn’t have to think for a long time were we would love to go to: Denmark is a long cherished dream. And now we are making plans also… It feels very unreal that we can do this now, and I can’t believe this is really going to happen… WOW!
