Pigeon problem

We have A LOT of pigeons in our garden.  I'm worrying that they are taking over and scaring the other smaller birds away.
 
I moved a feeder to the bottom of the garden and away from the others, and pigeon war has broken out.  I've realised that because there is a substantial branch to sit on and peck at the feeder there is a lot of conflict.  A crow even got involved earlier!
