Song Thrush

A short walk in the reserve this morning.  So lovely now all the leaves are coming out and a pleasure to see this song thrush.  It's one I've been stalking for a while now, though the shots I've usually got have been of it high up singing - beautiful to watch, but not always successful in an image.  Well that's my excuse, anyway ;))  I do think they're very elegant birds - only slightly smaller than a blackbird, but much more finely made.

Today's the day I also finally got some strong painkillers from the doc - they work well but I'm floating around a bit.  Haha!
