Sunday stroll

A quiet day. Sunny but there is still a very icy wind blowing from the east.
Strolled round Abbey House grounds, pausing at 'our seat' which is a small pergola but its sheltered and quiet.

Back home and I roused myself to mow the lawn which really did need doing.  That led to me to pruning the japonica which is spreading out too much and of course I began to notice a lot more shrubs that need cutting back. But the brown bin was almost full and  my wrist began to hurt so it was time to stop. I'm not sure why my wrist is uncomfortable as it's 7 years since I slipped backwards on bluebells and hurt it.
They do say all your earlier injuries come back to haunt you.
