The tail end of the blossom

The cherry blossom is ending now. But the leaves are coming out, and I think that is just as beautiful, if not more so!

Went for a run, and saw some huge carp streamers in the suburbs. I think (the children who I teach tell me) that they are for 'Golden Week', a long Japanese holiday that starts in under two weeks time. Expect a picture another time, and later a few of the island of Shikoku, where I'm going to be taking my holidays. Looking forward to it!
