exhaustion
its been difficult to keep up with blip. its hard, living in the suburbs finding interesting enough things to take photos of. berlin is saturated in art. the 'burbs are a disappointment. if i were a really good photographer id be able to make something of this place. perhaps i would if i had more energy. but i work an incredibly boring and life-sucking job everyday from 8-5. by the time i get off work i just want my bed and mindless entertainment. its no sort of life to lead.
it does, however, make me super excited for grad school. to pursue the things i love. to equip myself to be a teacher, my passion.
this job is a means to an end. and i am incredibly thankful for it. i try to have a good attitude. but sometimes i am so exhausted i feel i am not myself anymore. it is a very unnatural, inhuman type of exhaustion. i am not tired from manual labor in which i am exerting my body. i am not mentally tired from thinking and processing. instead i am tired out of immense monotony and boredom. and i get paid to feel this way. what an interesting world we live in.
so excited for grad school.
im quite content in this season. really happy. really joyful. living in the present, but anticipating moving forward in life.
