1066 walk

After a few garden chores R and I went with A & S to do the first part of the 1066 walk. Well, at least that is what the OS maps suggest it is though Google suggests it starts at Pevensey. Anyway, we walked from Jevington to Hankham which involves a climb over the South Downs and into Willingdon. This tree was on the way down. It was around 6 miles in all, and very pleasant though loads of stiles, which are difficult with a heavy dog that doesn’t like jumping over them. Dinner was at Prezzo . Not entirely successful on many fronts but they gave us money off the bill.
