Early season crabbing

An early morning 80k bike ride, prolific bird life including skylarks, linnets, bullfinches, yellow hammers, reed warblers, wrens, Chiff -chaffs, long tailed tits, whitethroats, goldfinches, oyster catchers, shell ducks, cormorant, mallard, swans, great tit, blackbirds, magpies, song thrushes, little egrets, gulls, jackdaw, sparrow hawk, kestrel, sparrows. As I arrived home I received sad news that Uncle Ron lost his fight for life and slipped quietly away with his daughter Cousin R by his bedside.
After lunch I drove over to Appledore with auntie where she was able to walk along the quay and back on the level, we did sit on a bench with a take away tea watching the gulls fighting over excess crabbing bait.
