Ferry early start.

Up at 6am to be at Portsmouth for 7am to catch the 8am ferry to Caen.
The picture is the Spinnaker Tower at Gunwharf Quay as we sailed passed.

Very calm crossing just a long 6 hour journey.

Met a friend as planned to collect some keys and possessions she had retrieved for safe keeping.

Arrived to find things rather chaotic but other friends had helped to tidy up a little. 

W was rather upset that one item he hoped was hidden had gone.

Apart from that things could have been worse.
