Covid isolation is a bit like lockdown in that it encourages appreciation of one's local surroundings. I've photographed a lot of garden flowers recently, so here is something a bit different - part of my display of interesting stones and coral collected over the years and arranged artfully on an old piece of wood outside :-)

I've been for a walk today, recording and identifying birdsong using the "Birdnet" app on my phone, which I really recommend. It has taken me a few years (so far) to learn some bird calls, but it's always one of the joys of Spring. It was sunny again, but today's wind was pretty chilly, not good for sitting out in, but ok for gardening.
