Lovely walk this morning, lots of people (and dogs) about. Bumped into a few friends, good to chat and pass the time of day with them.

Spent the day tidying the front garden, I know the builders will trash it, but I think it’s good to show we have ‘standards’. J came out and thought I was mad weeding the verges, but one of the neighbours came out and said “Pearl (the previous owner) would be so proud of the way I’m keeping up standards. That made me so happy, and the effort worth while.
