The hanging gardens
This is the Laburnum Arch round the corner from our house which I will come back to in a few weeks when all the flowers are hanging down and it looks pretty spectacular, in its own way.
Today it looks mostly green. That because it's chucked it down all day which is good for the plants but turns a Saturday into a kind of Sunday - everyone still in PJs at lunchtime, watching TV, downloading music and me wrestling with a ukelele (the Uke won).
Emerged early afternoon when Joe went off to play football in the rain with pals and I dragged the girls food shopping with me. The oven has packed in so options are reduced and it will be a Sunday stir fry in our house tomorrow.
An evening of organic cider, burgers and the DVD of Tropic Thunder lies ahead. I might even let Mrs Smith join me.
