Spring Camp

Mrs S and I have been looking forward to this break for a while, I always sleep well in the van on the rock ‘n’ roll bed and it’s always good to see Mark, Paul and the others.
Up to take Sam shopping and get the essentials for two days away, van loaded and away we went, a little later than we wanted to and with Paddy gazing at us through the window.
We called in at a rather large Tesco where I became distracted by the size and range of the ‘Meal Deal’ counter, don’t see much like that in Cornwall.
We arrived at River Dart Country Park and set up with the others.
Dry and warm weather, few beers, the obligatory overcooked burger and we set off for the bar.
Change of scenery, good company, what’s more to need.
