Heading for the sky?

It was an incredibly bright sunny day today, but the wind was gale force and having quite an effect only a few miles away from us. In Fraserburgh today sand was being whipped up from the beach and mixed with dust from the nearby fields to create the effect of a sandstorm. Hubby's newly built but still empty log box blew over and there is very little left of my crocuses. However the catkins on the corkscrew hazel are coming out and it is growing apace. I'm off walking tomorrow so hoping the wind will drop overnight. Hope you've all had a good day wherever you are!
