I’ve listened to all 17 CDs of this title about the life of Mary Lennox mother of Darnley. What a schemer! And how much intrigue and spying went on in those times. I was amazed at how much correspondence survives. I listen while I sew - I could never struggle through reading such a long rather dry book, BBC sounds being my main recourse.
