Walked to town and back and received a couple of very large onion bajis as a gift from a lovely local food shop (perfect to go with yesterday’s left over curry).


Went to a pub I’ve not been to for ages and ages and was delighted to see the menu has changed to some nice basic grub. It’s less hippy sadly but more practical than the weird unappetising menu put in place straight after the long standing chef left.

Washing machine has broken and started flooding today, thankfully it’s under guarantee so an engineer is coming out next week. We live in a very hard water area and I suspect that’s complicated things. This blip is the bath full of the weekly dark wash. Thankfully the machine will still spin clothes out!
