Irish Music Festival

In Tampere today to see two exhibitions and to attend two concerts in the Tampere Irish Music Festival. I have taken the liberty of combining two shots here because both players were so good. Thomas Johnston playing the traditional Uileann Pipes and Éadaoin Ní Mhaicín on the Irish Harp. They were quite sensational and a great advert for the depth and vivaciousness of Irish traditional music. Not the drinking songs nor the populist nationalist stuff but the real soul of Ireland. Just Great!
