Memories

Quick snap taken of a shop window as I walked along the Strand.  Today was lunch with the girls in London.  We haven’t all been together for about two years for one reason or another but today all 6 were present including both F’s - one from Winchester and the other from London/Bexhill/France.  We alternate between TW and London for a venue and today it was London.  Lunch was good and after our allotted time (only get a 2.5 hr window) we found a pub to have another drink and continue chatting.  Lots of chat and laughs and catching up.

Train home (don’t  get me started on J wearing a mask?  On the half empty train but not the heaving restaurant?) but it’s all personal choice. 

OH had played golf and visited MIL.  We were planning on Keukenhof next week for a few days but after the last busy fortnight have decided to stay put and have a few days at home and will visit UK tulip venues instead!

Photo reminded me of my dad who always had a wet shave and had a badgers hair brush (I think).  I loved the softness of the brush and the way the hairs were rounded at the top. I also remember a shaving bowl with Old Spice shaving soap and can still recall the smell. Memories x
