Peggy came over to see what I was up to on the lawn ( trying to get a good pic of the cherry blossom) . She turned out to be more colourful and interesting.
Mike and I and Basil went for a 1:1 dog behavioural therapy session in Portlaoise. Really interesting insights into just how anxious little Basil is and what sort of personality he has…. Who knew !?! Seems blinding obvious now he said it , but our little dog really doesn’t like other dogs and that’s just his way. We have a lot to work on but the good news is everything about being with him is to be super calm and really easy going. Distract and redirect ……. and have a lot of cooked chicken to hand ! He worked with Basil and his super chilled dog Trevor ( half German Shepard half husky) what a big cool calm Dude. The session ended with Basil able to calmly sit very close, but they faced in opposite directions! Then he hopped in the car toot sweet !!
