Earth Day

Earth Day was first marked in 1970 in the USA. I was in complete ignorance of this event until we moved to live and work in Poland in 2008 where everyone was aware of the significance of this day.

I would like to think billions of us are now aware, not only of this day but of how all our futures depend on what we do now to save our planet for our children and grandchildren.

It was much cloudier and cooler today but that did not deter T from more garden activity while I was in town for a four hour voluntary shift.

This afternoon I chatted on video link with my recently bereaved friend. He is doing as well as possible under such very sad circumstances.
