Tulip Preview

We’re not even at the main tulip gardens yet, - that’s not till the 27th, but these beautiful fields were spotted on the way to Amsterdam today! The colors are so vivid!

So today we only drove about 30 miles from our campsite near Delft to our new campsite near Amsterdam.
We stopped briefly at IKEA on our way out to get a few bits and bobs and later drove by David’s second house where he lived when I first met him, back in 1979!
We had frites and frites saus for lunch (I’m definitely getting fatter!)

Later on David cooked a lovely dinner of cauliflower and leek with a creamy cheese sauce, served with a delicious Portuguese red wine that Kevin had chosen for us.
