Solace Day 7 - Heartbreak Hill

The going was tough today, but as the song says: The tough get going. We needed to push on as we needed to be near the Harecastle Tunnel in the morning as passages are limited. We were coming down Heartbreak Hill!

With this in mind, we did 27 locks, most of them against us. We didn't stop until about 6.30 pm.

Drinks were poured rather quickly!
