Hoy For All

This drawing was dedicated to me and entitled ‘Hoy for Alan’ by the painter, author and leading Scottish performance artist, Alex Rigg. He drew it while living in Don, Outer Town, Stromness, Orkney, which I used to often visit/stay over and love to sit in the window seat overlooking exactly this view. It was he who introduced me to Blip!  

The last time I was at Don, the renowned photographer Gunnie Moberg and her husband Tam were in residence. Gunnie had chronicled The St Magnus Players of which I was a member, with Alex, in my earlier life in Orkney.  In typical Orcadian open door policy, we were already in her living room when she came in from her garden to greet us!  

I dedicate this to the Orkney-loving and presently-visiting blipper, LadyF, and all Orcadian resident blippers including Poppy, Iainatcreel, Northern and everyone else who is there and on here!
