Knowsley Safari park

I volunteered at school again today this time on a trip to Knowsley safari park with Year 2 and Catherine their teacher. What a fabulous time we had. We had a walk round the meerkats and giraffes with Ben the guide who was fabulous. 2 facts I learnt and can just about remember : a group of meerkats is called a mob and giraffe poo looks like a malteser!!! 
We ate lunch watching the sea lion show which was great and then in the coach a 5 mile tour round the grounds looking at all the other animals. We couldn't go into the monkeys but we saw them. Some children fell asleep on the way home! I must admit to having a nap when I got home. 
The rhino had a bad foot hence the orange shoe.
