Blackthorn blossom

Another big pan of soup made this morning, French lentil and bacon this time.

After lunch it was back to painting the woodwork in the hall that I didn't manage to complete before Easter. Very half-heartedly I must admit - the weather is still good, and I'd much rather be outside! Never mind, the first coat of eggshell is on about half the area to be covered.

An evening walk with MrM - the Humbleton round. At the top of the footpath through the campsite the blackthorn is in flower. Hoping for sloes later in the year!
