Invictus Games!

Two years ago we had tickets to the swimming finals and the closing ceremony. Then of course COVID hit and the event was postponed…and postponed. This week has finally been the week that the Invictus Games Den Haag have been able to take place. We didn’t get tickets this time, but even better we spent the afternoon in the fan zone as we were invited by the British Council/British Embassy to do a story time for them in their expo tent. It seems we were quite a hit and someone even commented that perhaps we pulled a bigger crowd than the ambassador!!
