Weeping for my Willow

My poor twisted willow tree!! :-(
This is my favourite tree in the garden. The electricity company contacted us to say they would be trimming the top of the tree as it was almost touching the power cables above. We understood it was necessary but did not expect this! It's completely butchered and looks terrible, they've chopped off the whole top of the tree and branches that were nowhere near the cables. There is hardly any tree left!
I know this is a rubbish photo but it just had to be my blip today in memory of our 'what was lovely' willow tree.
