Handsome Ben Age 11

Trip over to Bridgend this morning to pick up Mum for what she thought was a 1020 appointment at the surgery to get her monthly blood check. Turned out the appointment was at 1120……. Brought her up to the house but I had to leave at 1100 for the Saffy walk so S was in charge. We invited her to stay here for the day but her stomach was bothering her and wanted to get back home.

It was a beautiful day for a long walk and we wandered away down the outskirts of Perth in the countryside. Proper good paths and stunning views along to Crieff.

Lunch in the garden then Some gardening. Walked down to get Ben from school at 315. Him and Issak were wandering up Wilson Street and I always ask if they have had a good day at school. Today they told me about this other lad in the class, Leo, who has started bullying Issak again. What made me happy was that Ben and three other lads in the class are having none of it and are seeing off Leo (and his sidekick Struan) . Seemingly he is leaving Perth at the end of this term and going to a public school in Edinburgh. Well good luck there Leo! I absolutely hate bullying in any form it should be dealt with quickly and stopped.

Walking home with Ben is great cos you get all the stories . Another one was that he isn’t looking forward to Friday as it’s the continuation of the Sex Ed and it’s seeing a baby born and seeing a man and woman’s privates lol!!

But to offshoot that, he’s got a two night camp and adventures with the Scouts in the Fife countryside somewhere and Thursday night at 2020 his phone is restored to factory settings and back in order! That’ll teach him for changing passwords and forgetting them - that’s two months phoneless and his mum said he’s better without it.
