Thursday: Colours

Today was full of cloud and rain, until finally, this evening, the skies changed.  I did say to K., though, it’s almost May, and I’m heartily sick of the cold.  I haven’t been warm outside since we got here and everything is still brown and bare.  It also doesn’t help that our office is very cold too - to the extent that the only warm part of me was my little finger, as it was close to the laptop that was emitting a bit of heat……

But, much excitement - K and I were out this evening, meeting a friend from Vancouver. My friend, Shachi, was in town.  We had drinks and dinner with her, and her boss, Angus, and then more drinks.  It was doubly excellent - connecting with a friend and an evening out.
