Nibbles

This is Nibbles the latest addition to the Chmarny household. As a kid I can remember being lucky enough to bring the school pets home over the summer holiday. My favourite were the Gerbils as I loved the way the burrowed theirselves little tunnels in the sawdust, which by the way we could get for nothing at the local sawmill. No 'Pets at Home' in those days making money out of sawdust!

It got me thinking of the times when schools were allowed to keep pets, it was a great way to ensure kids took responsibility for things. It's such a shame that they are mostly not allowed nowadays. I sometimes think we over protect our children and should give them opportunities like I had.

Hence the new addition to the family.
