Easter backblip 5

A local walk today, in to the Cheviot hills from our door. The initial plan was a walk through Monday Clough, on to St Cuthbert's Way, and home in plenty of time to cook a roast dinner. But somewhere or other the plan changed to walking up through the Common to St Cuthbert's Way, and down Gledes Clough, taking in White Law too. A tad further than I had anticipated...

By the time we reached Gledes Clough I was shattered, so Tom and Lucy - both young and fit - offered to go ahead to start cooking dinner. Phew! By the time MrM and I arrived home 30 minutes after them, things were well under way! Eventually we all sat down together for a very nice meal, followed by a relaxing evening.
