Blue anemone + Cowslip

These are growing just on the other side of the footpath that runs outside my front door.  It's rather sweet, when the Council come to cut the grass they always make a big loop around the anemones and cowslips  Who would know they could be so caring?

I've actually been waiting to blip these for several days, and today seemed to be the moment.  I love the complementary colours, yellow and purple.  And for additional mad information, according to the Chelsea Physic Garden Herbal cowslips make your skin pure and reduce wrinkles, plus they are known as an anti-spasmodic.  Purple anemones, on the other hand, are apparently useless as cures for anything!  I sympathise ;))
