Tiny new growth of Mistletoe.

I have tried for years to get Mistletoe to grow on my Apple and Lime trees next door. I just recently noticed the second year shoots. Year 1 a stem and 2 leaves. Year 2 hopefully 2 stems and 4 leaves. Most Mistletoe around here grows on Lime trees. In France mainly on Poplar. Also in Surrey locally it grows on Norway Maple, Weeping Willow, False Acacia and Mountain Ash.
