Looking Up ... !

Got round to cleaning some of my ceramics today ... some are more difficult to clean than others because of the finished texture.

This has got to be one of my favourite pieces but it is a devil to clean ... because of the aforementioned texture ... I have a small feather duster especially for this task.

However, at the same time I do love the texture which was one of the reasons I bought it in the first place.

I also love its size (it's big), its dramatic appearance and its real sense of presence on the shelf ... so much so that one always has to be looking up at it!

Of course, that could also be due to the fact that it is placed on a high shelf ...! :)
