At Last

A wet and windy day, at least until about three thirty so spent much of the time reading and engaging in minor domestic chores. Finished a book on the elements in the periodic table which is much more interesting than perhaps it sounds. Started on a political biography of Lord Randolph Churchill which I picked up in the local second hand bookshop a couple of weeks ago.

Also dipped into a book on the life the Apostle Paul but taking it very slowly.

The daffodils are now in bloom in the back garden and getting a bit knocked about today. Soon these tulips will be giving us a burst of colour as we come up to the front door.
