Northern Flicker

I was out on the back deck for awhile working on a shot of some of the birds on my old stick, when this pretty fellow few into the fir tree nearby.  This afternoon husband and I went out on another forest hike, near home, to find me a new bird stick and we found a good one.  So be on the lookout for that in future blips.
