14yo & I wandered down to the nature reserve while 17yo was getting on with his A level revision. We were hoping for ducklings but had to make do with butterflies.

I’ve seen quite a few Holly Blue during the past couple of weeks - it seems to be a good spring for them. This was the first one that paused for a photo though.

We saw a Blackcap down by the river too.
