King's Place

This is looking out of the entrance to King's Place, a concert and arts venue alongside the offices of The Guardian just up the road from King's Cross Station in London. I was there to see The Young'uns, a three man folk group from Teesside in the North East of England. Their singing, often a capella, is very powerful and their songs often contain historical content that is relevant still today. The songs are political but in an observational rather than full-on sense. A great evening and they richly deserved the standing ovation they received at the end.
