Golden Ball

Today's Sun. The sunspot group is being carried further into view as the Sun rotates. It is still very active and could well send a CME our way over the next few days.
For an idea of scale 110 Earths could fit across the Sun's diameter. Earth would easily be swallowed up by each of the main spots. Sleep tight!
