Coln St Aldwyn

This morning we went for a really lovely walk alongside the River Coln with Perdie and Ivy, and Perdie's mum and dad who treated us to a delicious lunch at The New Inn after our walk to thank us for the times we've looked after Perdie.  We had the most perfect weather - sunny but not too hot and the Coln valley was looking wonderful.  I've added some extras just because it was so lovely and one of those days to remember.  The crab apple tree was just by one of the gates we passed through and the lovely old barn and house are on the outskirts of the village and seemed to be from another age.
