Sally Mair - Loving life

Sunshine in the garden

It's so good to wake up to the sunshine just now. Good to be able to hang the washing out too, I think I'm getting old as I'm enjoying the scent of line dried washing.
I gave Ali a hand loading up the car for a run to the tip. You still need to make an appointment, but it was a very smooth operation.
Back home I enjoyed my lunch sitting in the garden and admiring the flowers.
My collage has:
Daffodil Sabine Hay, I bought these as a special variety last year and they weren't a success, this year's replacements did much better;
White Dog Toothed Violet;
a beautifully pure, white, Sanguinaria, recommended a few years ago by blipper Annakucat (I think);
a rich, red rhododendron;
one of my red toned pasque flowers taken looking up into the light;
finishing with my rather special Scilla - variety Lilio-Hyacinthus.
My cold is definitely on the retreat now, just as well because I'm too busy to feel unwell.
